Jacksonville, along with Denver (major redevelopment of their Amtrak station underway as of Feb 2011), Worcester, and Greenville were the only major cities to experience declining ridership at their stations between 1997 and 2012.

and how many routes that served Jacksonville were dropped during that time span...I can think of at least two

At least the article in the Business Journal pointed that our Friday. Jacksonville lost the Sunset Limited and Palmetto service.
