JU/UNF Basketball showdown, part 1 tonight

JU has a young team, but they have talent.  When they play good up tempo defense... the team can look really good.  When they don't, they struggle.

I thought UNF should be the favorite to win the A Sun in pre-season now that Belmont has moved out of the conference.  They have the talent, but haven't really been consistent.

Tachale, you feeling confident enough within the friendly confines of the owl nest to double down on last year's bet?

Mr. Field, I gladly take more of your beer. Where are we, 4 pints of local beer at a local establishement? If anyone wants in, the game's at 7 tonight at UNF Arena.

And yes, I'm a bit nervous about our performance so far this season. Especially considering that JU already beat Mercer and Northern Kentucky, who killed us this year.

On the upside, it was a great cowd, over 4000, reportedly the biggest ever for UNF basketball. On the downside, it was a loss. To frickin Jacksonville. And now I owe Field four frickin pints.
