For the first time in 2013 there was an Amber Alert by text @ 1:45AM this morning.

iPhone users on AT&T who haven't upgraded to iOS 6 were immune.

My ICS Android went off 3 times, very, very loud.  I thought it was a smoke alarm at first.

My girlfriend got the alert from her Verizon iPhone 5. I didn't get the alert...I have an iPhone 4S, upgraded. Weird. Especially weird because she has a 516 area code (NY), and I have a 904. How did they even get her number?

Billing zipcode perhaps?
