I go to Tom & Bettys relatively often, as recently as dinner last night.  The food is hit or miss, as is the service in the restaurant.  Last night's steamed vegetables were initially served only half-defrosted and the blackened chicken way over-seasoned (salty as all hell), but the burger and fries were on point!  Thankfully in the bar area, Brian and the $1 drafts are always top notch!  Brian has the uncanny ability to remember names unlike anybody I've ever met...you can go in there every 3 months and he'll greet you by name every time!  All in all, it's a great neighborhood diner and I'm glad it's right down the street from me.
