MetroJax is one of the better venues for keeping abreast of what's really happening in town, especially since a fair number of the folks who actually make things happen post here, and a bunch more read it regularly.  The signal to noise ratio is generally pretty good in the discussion forums, and the staff is constantly posting really amazing articles about the various stories and historys in the First Coast.  Good stuff.
