Don Redman responds to resident's email by calling him a "miserable individual"

I believe I read something in this thread about him being term-limited.

Is this his last term?

Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Not to be Johnny Raincloud here, but when you get an email response from someone, who NEVER responds to emails, let alone on a controversial issue like this, and it has a silly amount of misspells....smells like someone either hacked his account, borrowed his phone or is pulling someone's leg.

Except that he admitted to sending it.

Got it. If he says he sent it, agreed, send him back to school or learn to use the spell check.

I think it may be a bit late in the game to fix this :P

If the man is dyslexic, I'm sorry I made fun of his spelling. Actually I'm sorry I started everyone making fun at all. It wasn't kind and I shouldn't have done it.

I stand by disagreeing with his stance on 296, however.

I am in no way defending Don Redman's actions.  However, I remember reading recently that this forum's civility rules prohibit attacking a person directly.

You can criticize their actions, (for example, "what the councilman did was terrible, inexcusable, etc.).  What you can't do is write something like "the councilman is a "fill in the blank with a derogatory statement".

For the sake of the credibility of the forum, I would appreciate it if our members would remember this, and hopefully our moderators will apply the civility rules uniformly.

If he is dyslexic I apologize.  He is apparently bigoted and feels justified in his religious convictions to be such ( as does  Ms Daniels)

Bunch of saints we have in City Council.    We should be ashamed for calling them anything but perfect.   :sarcasm:

+1
Pull all my public record email responses from Redman if you want analysis.

So who wants to go kayaking and fishing under the brand new No Fishing signs that was never before Waterways. As a bonus I 'll bring a deck of cards and we can play go fish.

Don Redman isn't part of this forum, nothing was said directly to anyone, and he is a public figure. Hence, open to ridicule. So come off your high horses, guys. That would be like me calling George Bush an idiot. Well, he is. And so is Redman. Call it like you see it & stop trying to be all "pc". The city & its people have no time to pussyfoot around subjects because you may or may not hurt someone's little feelings.

Besides, I think a better use of your time would be asking how in the hell a seemingly illiterate man, who can not only not read or write but can't even speak well or hold a rational thought in his head, got into such a position in the first place. But I'm sure you all know the answer already to that one (and its one that you won't likely change anytime soon), so let's concentrate on stupid stuff. ::)

^ for that matter , the same could be said for others in Council, one in particular, EVEN LESS (if that is possible) qualified , than Redman.
