Looking at these renderings, it just seems too good to be true. I love the second rendering that shows all the people hanging out in the outdoor seating area.

Downtown is ALMOST there.  Landmar is a great, reputable developer.  If anyone can and will do it, it's them.

I love this plan. The renderings are pretty awesome. I thought that LandMar had a great idea. Its gonna be great when it is completed.

Ed Burr resigns as LandMar CEO

By LIZ FLAISIG, The Times-Union

Local developer Ed Burr has stepped down from leading the company he founded 20 years ago.

The LandMar Group LLC late this afternoon issued a press release saying Burr was resigning as chief executive officer after an unsuccessful bid to regain controlling interest from Crescent Resources LLC.

Crescent gained controlling interest of the Jacksonville-based company in 1999.

Burr did not announce what his future ventures would be.

LandMar took over the troubled 40-acre Shipyards development in 2005 from the city.

Burr visited Mayor John Peyton this afternoon to assure him that "the city and taxpayers are protected very well," Mayoral Spokeswoman Susie Wiles said.

LandMar's release noted the Shipyards "will continue" as part of its portfolio.

130 slip marina and not ONE slip for the Public.

Berkman Plaza-Plaza at Berkman was a taxpayer subsidized project. Is there one marina slip for the PUBLIC  in that marina?

The Jacksonville city council needs to know this information before an Epoch opportunity is lost to ever reclaim access to our St. Johns River our American Heritage River a Federal Initiative.
