Chik-Fil-A Backs Off - Drops Support for Anti-Gay Groups

Chik-Fil-A working with a LGBT group has worked out an agreement where they (CFA) will cease to speak on political or social issues and focus strictly on chicken and customer service.

Chicago Alderman Moreno has also dropped his objection to them coming to his ward as well after some redesigns fit his requirements.

CFA has also agreed to drop all funding of groups considered as "anti-gay" going forward through WinShare.

That's good news. Exactly what we hoped would happen.

I like the way they played this. They waited until they recorded a record day of profits and then announced they were not contributing to those groups anymore. That is good business right there.
