Khan screwed us a bit with the new head coach I was looking forward to getting a coach that has a true fire in his belly. Mojo doesn't sign until the last minute this was fine with me I'm glad Khan didn't give him anymore money. And we have several people out damn! Rynjny I'm glad you're ALL IN  could you let me know how you can stay so positive?

It’s hard to have a sense of humor after yesterday’s debacle…. But this article is pretty funny  :D

http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2012/9/17/3347836/blaine-gabbert-injury-jaguars-qb-is-butt-hurt

Lucky Gabbert isn't on the ever growing list of injured Jaguars. One more goes down and the species will be officially endangered.
And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

A coach does not have to be screaming yelling and cursing to have "fire in their belly." Mularkey is very stern, honest, disciplined and gets his point across.

In retrospect check this out... We lost bad to a very good team. An extremelty good team. Last week, played our butts off against a team on our level and finally had a huge clutch play. Wasnt a happy ending, but everything is going exactly how I expected. We will play good against bad team, play medicore against other medicore teams, and well be tested and probably fail against HEAVILY when we play the big dogs. Had we got blown out by the vikings, then I would be hitting the panic button. With this team being left in such a mess from being ran in the ground, you cant really expect more than that. 7-9, or 8-8 is all we getting this year. Unless we get lucky.. And we havent gotten lucky since 2007

Saw this from Vito (for all the Gene Smith haters):

http://www.kansascity.com/2012/09/16/3818676/chiefs-will-never-win-big-with.html

I had to read this article 4 times before my mind could comprehend that it wasn't a Jacksonville / Gene Smith spoof.

I didn't realize that reporters have a standardized form letter for calling out GMs.

A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Mullarkey is not the problem and wasn't the problem yesterday.

It's not the X's and O's.............. it's the Jimmys and Joes that are holding this team back.

It's disappointing to see the strides the Organization has made off the field, while the team is still struggling mightily on the field.   Finally a front office that seems to get it, you know? The impact would be so much more if they could trot out a competent offense.

It takes time to build the depth that is needed to compete, unfortunately we've wasted a great deal of time to be exactly where we were 50 games ago.

+1

I'm still "all in"--screw fair-weather fans. It's not about being negative or positive. It's about showing up and supporting the team no matter what.

How long have we been saying this? Its the same every year. My God, how long does it take to rebuild a team?

Its funny how some of these people NEVER comment on anything that has to do with the Jags, until something goes wrong. Then they have everything to say. Every time the season starts, certains trolls always come from under their bridges.
