Can someone PLEASE confirm they will still offer Jeff Squares?!

I hope so.

On another note, this may be the best thing to happen to 3 Layers since they opened. Better management would make this place a go-to spot for me, again.

Except that this is the management that brought them where they are.

True that. Since they've basically been running the show anyway, and since Shawn/Jeff have been MIA for a year, this'll be just the same (or worse). Oh well.

I wonder what this means for the guys? Are they done with Springfield/Jax now??

I visited Three Layers a few weeks ago and one of the new owners was working. I'll let you be the judge, but the way that the individual was treating the 2 employees working there was NOT good. Enough to irritate my friend and I and make me not want to go back!

I think a lot of us have had similarly off-putting experiences there. Not being in the Springfield neighborhood anyway, I've switched over to Bold Bean for my local coffee house needs. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I went there for the first time in a long time last Friday night for drinks with friends. We sat outside and ordered drinks and food items. We didn't have any issues and the bar tender provided good service.

I have to admit though, the place was a lot less busy than I remember it for Friday nights (given the jazz festival was that night), and the place didn't have the same buzz it used to.

Good luck to the new owners.

Three suggestions for 3 Layers
1.Expand your menu selection for food, beverages and bar.
2.Host more creative events.
3.Improve your advertising.

Bold bean and Three layers are the two best coffee houses in the city bar none!

First time visitor this past Sat. Owner no where to be seen but didn't matter. The 3 folks on duty all did a great team like job on everyone in the place. Holy Cow was to die for but the Jeff squares had to much cinnamon for our tastes. Beer was cold and wet and the coffee...

The best part of the evening was the entertainment. Singer, Songwriter Lauren Fincham acc. by Mike Pearson provided a great adult listening experience.  A great mix of originals combined with covers spun in her style and tone.

Went back for the first time since management changed. I had some awful experiences with old management. Glad to say, this time, I had a delightful experience. Prompt service, staff was paying attention, nobody was being snobbish or rude. Also, nobody denied me a Jeff Square like last time!

P.s. Bugsy is still there. Phew.

Didn't notice it...but I'm not that perceptive, so who knows.
