Next Thursday night, the Thursday Night Drinking Club is convening upon Underbelly in downtown Jax with proceeds benefitting the St Johns Riverkeeper.

THNDC has been around now for over 7 years, meeting on what is typically the third Thursday of every month as a way to socialize, meet new people and help worthy causes.

This month, we'll be visiting downtown's newest destination Underbelly  at 113 East Bay Street.  Event starts at 7pm.  Your $5 donation at the door goes directly to the St Johns Riverkeeper and entitles you to your first drink free.  Live music will also be provided by Brad Lauretti from This Fontier Needs Heroes. 

Make plans to join us and live high on the hog at Underbelly!

Sweet! I may finally make it to one of these. At Underbelly no less!
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Unfortunately I'm doing the Bold City Brew Series 5K, which starts at 7 on thursday also.  Based on run time, beer time, get somewhat clean time, and drive time, I couldn't make it there before 9 or so.  How late does the event go?

It's also the first night of games for the WAKA Atlantic league.  Rough night be young in Jacksonville.  Way too much going on.

folks can also take advantage of Eat Up Downtown...I believe Underbelly is participating at the $15 level

I'd love to attend, but as a victim, I mean as a rider of JTA, my last bus stops running at 8:25. I also have to walk all the way to Jefferson st or the terminal, which is an equal distance from Underbelly. So, drink a few for me everyone!
