Over the years, Downtown Jacksonville has become known for medicore development that ignores the pedestrian.  Here is one development that has made strides in improving the walking experience along its borders.

Still seems so.... "blah". I guess it's better than a sandy parking lot but it looks so non-descript.

It definately won't win any design awards, but adding some glass and storefronts on the corners and Laura Street will help give people a reason to wonder into the gulf that divides Springfield from Downtown.

The renderings don't do it much justice.  The brick and architecture are simple but should look pretty good when the building is finished.

The redesign looks much better. I'm glad see to someone is listening out there. I still think is needs a lighthouse.

Well, I attend to agree with most others.  It's better than the present lot, however, it still leaves much, much to be desired.   These buildings are tired, uninspiring, and just plain drab.  Where is the vision?
