Hi all. I'm a Jacksonville native with a long family history in the area. I studied and worked abroad in the UK for many years before returning to live in Avondale after my first daughter was born. Living in Europe, I realized how far this country has gone down the wrong path. So many good things have been ruined here for no good reason. And yet there are many gems left and much work to be done to make the rest of it better. I was glad to find metrojacksonville upon my return. It's a promising sign to see this many people concerned and motivated to keep our history and better plan our future. Cheers.
