Has anyone else heard a rumor about Hamburger Mary's opening a location in San Marco?  This would be very exciting, should it prove to be true.

What part of San Marco and what is Hamburger Mary's?

Jimmy

There could be some confusion.  While that would be epically awesome if Hamburger Mary's came to town, I think in fact someone is opening something called "Mary's," no "hamburger," in Riverside.

From the website - "Hamburger Mary's is an open-air bar and grille for open-minded people."  I visited the location in Denver, and they had drag shows, full bar and hamburgers... Seemed like a really cool place with a good atmosphere. I have not heard about a specific location in San Marco.

Aaawwwwww! Very nostalgic--I had my first legal adult beverage at Hamburger Mary's, when I lived on Capitol Hill in Seattle, in the early nineties...

Yikes, after all the "pink slime" reports of late, I wonder what the future holds for hamburger joints.  We have a Mary's here in Chicago and it's nothing special.

The ones in Wilton Manors and Washington DC closed because they just weren't that good.

Let me see what I can find out.  There was talk of it among some gay circles on Facebook yesterday about Mary's.  Guess it's the real deal!

Mathew Medure is opening M Shack in San Marco replacing his TAG location. Does that count?
