Ben said is was a zoning issue.

My guess would be that it's at BCB instead of IAW for that reason.

I wonder if code enforcement has been telling Ben a load of bull?  I haven't found in the code where it states he can't have a truck on his property due to its zoning classification.

We've been told by the city that we are in violation of our zoning by having a food truck serving food on our property.

Green Room Brewing out at the beach has been told they can not have food trucks at their business either.

Seems like both cities would want the option of food available to people that are enjoying local beer.

Great idea! I'll be there with a posse to support the neighborhood. Will RAP be there to protest the colors of the trucks? Can I bring my Intuition growler of I-10 IPA?

Yeah, he said it was a zoning issue.  I believe both properties share the same zoning.  So, what is a a problem for one is a problem for the other.

Will the line up of vendor participants be announced soon?

Food trucks rely heavily on social media.  As such, our event will rely heavily on social media.

If you 'like' the Jax Truckies facebook page, starting next week we'll start announcing participants.

Thank you to all who have bought tickets so far.  Based on the awesome response so far, this event will sell out quick.

We knew there was pent up demand in this town for food trucks... the city is going to have to start looking favorably on these efficient ways to create small business growth and encourage pedestrian activity downtown.

VIP is already sold out!!!  Still have regular admission tickets remain at $5 a piece.

Actually most of the RAP board are regulars at Intuition and really miss the food trucks just like the rest of us. It isn't RAP that's been giving Ben problems with Code Enforcement, it's the crazy person across the street.

Now say you're sorry!   :)

Sales have been brisk.  I guess there's a pent up demand for something like this in Jacksonville.  Hopefully, the mayor's office and city council will take notice.  With that said, as of 6pm today, there's 21 tickets remaining before the event is sold out.
