You want the Jaguars to be successful in Jacksonville, here are a few ideas:

1. Host parties on game day at Metro Park, the Landing (they're aching for something going on), or anywhere near the stadium. I'm talking music, fans, beer (for over 21 of course), games, that sort of thing. Let Jacksonville be known for some of the best tailgating parties in the NFL.

2. Win games! Not like it's not a gimme, but everyone knows if you win, they will come. Even the Cowboys' fan attendance is in question at their nice new stadium.

3. Make the black jerseys the official jersey, please! It looks better and the team looks much more dangerous with the black jerseys. Let the teal jerseys be the alternate jerseys.

4. Jaguar-themed sports bars, billboards everywhere, put the Jaguars in people's faces.

5. Reach out to the community somehow. If Green Bay can do it, I know Jacksonville can do it.

Anyone else with ideas, please throw them out.

I agree! WE are doing the black uniforms in 2013. I also had an idea about teal town. They should just level that area and actually build an Teal Town entertainment complex. The mayor had an idea about an ESPN zone. Well, that could be located at Teal Town amoung other things.

I guess you don't go to many games.

Well not really, since I'm living in NC now. Doesn't mean I don't like going to games. Doesn't mean I can't throw out ideas either and if I can catch a game, I am definitely there.

I'm assuming the two big parts of the new president, Mark Lamping, the new president, will be marketing and gameday experience. He's already talked about regionalizing the team. There has been talk about upgrading the sound system as well.

I've said this before. I am grateful to Weaver for getting the team here and building the foundation. But Khan is going to be a bigger thinker. I am excited about the future of this team.

What or where is Teal Town? You're not referring to the lil Pepsi Zone that's at the bottom of the escalators coming down from the Bud Zone are you?

I do love the idea of ESPN Zone. Not only would that be great for the Jaguars but it would be a great addition to Downtown.

I don't think we have a market for an ESPN Zone, but I could be wrong.  Although, Jock's & Jill's was in the space now occupied by Bennies, and it was the only true sports bar in the Landing, but that was quite a while ago.

I was pondering the idea of having it built somewhere in the Stadium District. I'm sure it'd probably kill whatever business that sports bar next to the Arena has though.

Almost all the ESPN Zones have closed. The only two left are both in the L.A. area.

Hmm I guess the one in Orlando was rebranded to "ESPN Club". But I guess we were just stuck on the name "ESPN". I could care less if it was ESPN or not. It just would be great to have a great mega sports-bar downtown. Hooters and Chicago Pizza doesn't do it for me.

The game day experience is already awesome. It's reasonably affordable (for an NFL game) and there's no shortage of things to do. We also have the best mascot in the NFL. If you haven't been I would suggest going to a game.
The color of the players shirt won't matter, look how ugly the broncos jerseys are and people still wear that ugly jersey.
I think bottom line is they have to win games. 4/5 years ago the stadium was packed when Garrard was in his 1st year as a starter for us.
Billboards are a good idea (though there are already a few around town), sports bars will come when the fan base gets larger. That's not My Khan's job:)

Yeah I just pondered about the Teal Town thing. I think we should have some type of type of entertainment complzex in the sports district. I mean why not? ON game day, the people that can not afford to go to the game can have a better experience than the now " Teal Town".

And Im going to say this, and I hope this doesnt start a new thread of messages (lol) But khan did mention he wants to the superbowl back in Jacksonville. With that being the case, we will need to have a lot more to offer than we did the last time.

People were understandably concerned when news first broke of the sale of the team, but man, you can really feel the optimism around this city about Khan and what his resources and business acumen can do for this franchise and Jacksonville. Can't wait for football season.
