On Tuesday night the City Council approved Brad Thoburn for Planning Director.  The only council members to vote against our Great Leader's appointment was Mia Jones, Glorious Johnson and Warren Alvarez.

What you don't know is what was promised to get the votes. You'll see down the road where pet projects have been intoduced to City Council by the Mayor. These "projects" usually appear without citizen or Mayorial support but seem to pass right through. Take a good look at the next bond list and you'll see who was promised what....

In 1901, there was a great fire downtown in Jacksonville.   We have one again today and this is more fuel for it.   The fire in 1901 was horrific and catastrophic.  The fire today is in the seats of city officials finding themselves held accountable more than ever.  Burn it down baby, burn it down.
