My peeps and I stumbled up The Museum of the American Railroad in Dallas Texas while looking at the largest collection of Art Deco structures in the world(built to celebrate Texas's 100 year birthday.) But we found the museum at Fair Park provides an interesting step back in time to a bygone era of luxury railway travel. Originally, the museum focused on the age of steam, but more recently, their acquisitions include other types of train travel.

If your on the hunt for Art Deco, or Trains from a bygone era, this park is a must see.

I have lots of pictures, and will attach them, but one of the coolest locomotive is the Union Pacific Realroad #4018, "Big Boy", 1942.  This thing is huge.  I mean really huge.

Also, there's the Big Boy's little brother St. Louis-San Francisco Raliway #4501, 4-8-4 Steam Locomotive, 1942.

There's a boxcar from the Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh Ry. (B&O), "Bobber" Caboose, 1896.
