Anyone who wandered over to the University of North Florida Student Union a few minutes after noon Tuesday would have detected a certain electricity in the crowd.

And a few minutes later, they would have seen â€" and heard â€" the electricity explode into movement as the booming music from “The Lion King” began to play and one student began joyfully dancing.

He was joined by a few more students, who were joined by a few more, until an estimated 300 were dancing in unison in a long practiced, tightly choreographed flash mob.

But this was no ordinary, seemingly pointless flash mob.
