My drive through downtown tonight

After leaving my moms house, I took a stroll through downtown tonight. Im actually impressed with the progress I am seeing downtown. Its good to see that the small businesses (bars, clubs, retail, etc) is taking a chance with downtown and adding some life. Also, somebody help me out. Is that lighting atop of the Arena new?? I never noticed it before. It looks really cool! I also like's farah & farah new neon blue signs on the side of their building. Im actually ready for the night shots tomorrow for MNF. I am also very happy the fountain is fully funcational now. Downtown is really starting to shape up a little.

Yeah and I thought it was just me, but it seems like there are more people out and about at night than in the past.

the arena lighting had been there for quite some time....as for more people out downtown, tonight many of them are wearing purple!

I was downtown tonight too and saw some people. But it was past midnight, in a shady area, with somewhat shady characters nearby, so I didn't hang around too long. Sorry...don't mean to perpetuate any negative stereotypes about dt, just telling it like it is...for me.

But I certainly agree with Duvaldude and share his optimism about the future
