Now that you mention it: I believe Osama bin Laden was a CIA creation, and not likely guilty of all of which he had been accused.

I could not care less about Qaddafi.  At least to the extent that he was a dictator in Libya. I simply don't take "news" at face value anymore.

The Libyan uprising may not have been exclusively CIA staged and supported, but we should see a few CIA employees listed as Assistant Producers as the credits roll. (Key Grip)

I read some comments on both sides of the issue. Some called the captors brutal, animalistic thugs while others claimed kahdafi had it coming and had ordered similar despicable acts carried out on dissenters and political opposition.

Truth is; I don't know. I do fear there are US fingerprints upon the bludgeon.
