As a season ticket holder I love my team and I am there loud and proud, but it amazes me how people refuse to see the truth staring them dead in the face. Support the team yes, but stop the nonsense, enjoy the good plays here and there. 1 and 15 is knocking at the door. Houston or the Titans will win the division. Again what team are you homers actually watching. I have no problem with being optimistic or positive but its time to smell the kittly liter and it smells bad. Too bad with the division being up for grabs this yr. I think the Jags have found their QB though,, Go Jags

Keith I think the direction this thread is to not drown our self in the negative that is happening right now. We know we are horrific right now, but why sit and dwell on it and keep talking about it day in and day out.

I agree with everything that NRW said earlier; Everything that he said was realistic and reasonable, and I don't think that he had any teal colored glasses(like Keith like to say). He brought up some well spoken criticisms concerning the Jags (like our WR's) so everything wasn't rosy clean. It's easy to follow the Nat'l media BS and say that we're going 1-15. The AFC South sucks period(as NRW said already). It's not like the Jags are playing in the NFC North or something. Keith, please change your Capt'n status to "Jaguars most harsh critic".

Keith-N-Jax

I dont follow the media, and I am not being Harsh. Sometimes its hard to actually feel or get a sense how a person is actually feeling on a MB, anyway I like the Jags otherwise I wouldnt be going to the games. They are not good right now and there's nothing wrong with pointing that out. Just because my opinion differs from others I am being harsh, really? Also everything I said was realistic and reasonable. Some of you guys seem a bit harsh!!

I don't think you're being harsh, but I do think that you're unable to look past 1-4.

We are truly a team that's only 2-3 plays from being 3-2 or 4-1.  It's the NFL.

I left it to you to do some research and give us some statistical evidence that backs up your statement that we're truly a bad team.  C'mon, you can do better than, "They suck".

A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

What's it going to take to get the Hart Bridge painted teal? I know that's very outlandish, but it would look great on television and doesn't lack for being a statement.

It is almost teal anyway. Might as well go all the way. LOL

Were not bad as you think? your right were horrid if thats a word. Next year I think we make some noise, if Del Zero is still on the Jags sideline, it will be the same ole song. Go Jags prove me wrong win another game we have thirsty posters on here!!!! Go Jags!!!

Horrid? Nah. They are 1-4 but in three of those games, they were in it until the fourth quarter. The only blowout loss was on the road against a team that was in the last two AFC title games.

And not even that. We were in the game until Mckowns last two interceptions. The Jets were terriable actually. (and getting worse as we speak) LOL

Despite four straight losses, I'm having a lot of fun watching Gabbert develop each week?

On a side note, I had to run over to UNF yesterday and was (pleasantly) shocked by the sheer amount of Jags gear you see on campus.

It's been said time and time again, "The Jaguars get no respect from the National Media".  After reading an article from this morning, it's no wonder.  We're our own worst enemy.  I wish I knew who the reporters were that were asking the questions, but I've got a really good idea of it being some of the idiots at the TU.  I totally agree with Tomlin on this issue.  It's 4 fucking years ago.  I won't rehash what Tomlin said, but again, I agree with everyword:

Getty ImagesThe Steelers host the Jaguars on Sunday, and as is customary Steelers coach Mike Tomlin made himself available for a conference call with the opposing city’s media.

According to Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union, Tomlin got irritated with questions regarding a 2007 playoff game between the two teams.  The Jaguars won the game, making them the first team ever to win twice in Pittsburgh in the same season.  And the game ended with a critical fourth-down draw play by former Jaguars quarterback David Garrard, during which the officials missed an obvious offensive holding call.

Asked whether Tomlin complained to the league office, Tomlin said, “No.” Asked why he didn’t, he said, “Why would I?”  Then, after it was explained that the call was critical to the outcome of the game, the fuse entered the bomb.

“Guys, come on man. I’m not going to cry over four-year-old spilled milk. Anybody got any legitimate questions? Goll-lly,” Tomlin said.

Per Ganguli, the reporters chuckled.  Tomlin didn’t.

“Guys, that was four years ago,” Tomlin then said. “I understand that might have been a big game in Jacksonville but that’s old news. Many of those guys are no longer here and definitely many of the guys that were in Jacksonville are no longer there.  Anybody got any questions relative to this week?”

After a few seconds, another reporter started to ask another question.  But Tomlin hung up the phone.

Perhaps the question for the Jacksonville media is whether they’ll complain to the league office, and if not why not?

Who pays these clowns and why do they still have jobs?

--Jax Media--  It's great to meet you Dan Marino.  Before we get into what you're doing these days, I just wanted to ask you,   Do you remember back in ninety-nine when the Jaguars beat this shit out of your team and essentially made you retire?   Well, what do you think you should have done differently on 3rd & 12 in the second quarter?  SMFingH

I mention this in a previous post. our local media is our worst enemy on all fronts. They do our players the same way. I watched a Mojo Press conference earlier this season and he went off them. He told them to stop asking silly questions and stop tryong to make a story out of everything. They make us look really stupid.
