Where is the "Me" generation?
'As a sinner I am truly conscious of having often offended my Creator and I beg him to forgive me, but as a Queen and Sovereign, I am aware of no fault or offence for which I have to render account to anyone here below.'   Mary, queen of Scots to her jailer, Sir Amyas Paulet; October 1586

"No Coke, Pepsi" Generation.  Loved it.  Wouldn't have changed it for the world!

i refused to be defined by a stupid generational label.

ROFL.  Why don't people in the "Me" generation have a problem with generation they're in as well?

Generation X here
Both of my parents were Baby Boomers.
My mom was a boomer, but my dad was born in the interwar period (1920s).  So i had two older parents from two generations that had me later in life.

I think I'm a Y'er?

The proper term for Gen Y'ers are the Millenials.  Another proper name is the Echo Boomer generation, since depending on the dates of when the generation starts and ends, we are sometimes considered larger than the Baby Boomers in numbers.  We are such a large generation because the Baby Boomers are our parents.

Our generation, as well as the Baby Boomers, have either always shown a preference for urban living or have finally begun to show a preference for "aging in place" in an urban environment.

I was born at the tail end of the 1970s. What does that make me? My parents are boomers...

Ditto.  That makes us solidly millennials/Gen Y'ers.

Interestingly, per Wiki, anyone born in the early 1990s through the end of the last decade are Generation I/the Net Generation/Generation Z.

Wonder if babies born in this decade hence will start back over and be Generation A? :)
