First Sinclair and now Cafe 331?  When the new courthouse opens where are the employees  gonna go to get their happy hour drink on?

It all comes back to 1 thing. Downtown housing. Downtown will not succeed without more residents. Its that simple. Higher popularity and density in the urban neighbirhoods surronding downtown is somewhat helpful but it doesnt really do the job. Downtown housing. Downtown housing. Downtown housing. Mayor Brown will need to rollout incentives for this to happen and I have a feeling hes listening to the right people.

The way I see it, we're not starting from ground zero.  This isn't so much about attracting new infill and population as it is retaining what's already here.  We already have a critical mass in place for a certain level of vibrancy.  However, we're not utilizing it in the proper manner, which makes the environment worse than it really should be.  While I have no problem rolling out housing incentives and tax rebates for the entire preconsolidated city, but even that won't stimulate overnight vibrancy fast enough to save existing businesses.

Oh..If it is the Key for the former "Thee Imperial", They have at least three spaces there...with lots of former band practice spaces and office room above.
Remember the Voodoo Lounge?(Rock&Roll Pizza?)
Thee Imperial has a basement I always wanted to explore..Maybe some intrepid photographer will oblige.
Very convenient back parking to all those spaces if they just allow a back door access..(bank parking lot after hours..Well Lit up.)
