Pretty major reversal today by WHO.

I've always felt that people are really playing with fire holding a cell phone to their temple for hours at a time.

They are killing themselves and others in much greater numbers... holding them to their heads, texting, dialing while driving. :o
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

It's really not that conclusive.  For some reason the cell phone thing really affects people.  But here's a list of other 2B Carcinogens http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_IARC_Group_2B_carcinogens.  Puts it on the same page as Coffee and Pickles.

Personal theory:  I think the whole cell phone thing gets hyped so much cause we dislike so many other things associated with it.  Mainly our total dependence on it.  But also, the rudeness of loud cell phone talkers, and the very real danger of texting/calling while driving.  So, it would be easier on us if we were to say, "oh they cause cancer they're bad" instead of saying "oh, they are a cancer, they're bad".
So I said to him: Arthur, Artie come on, why does the salesman have to die? Change the title; The life of a salesman. That's what people want to see.
