Not to take anything away from Hogan's remarks last night, but Brown's are better and more telling:

"We want to made sure every vote is counted," Brown told his supporters. "We as a city will get the results together and unite the city behind the winner."

How telling. I believe he truly cares about this city's future, whether he's mayor or not.

That's the kind of election that reminds you that your vote actually does matter.

No matter who comes out on top, the election was the easy part. The hard work is ahead.

Let's just hope its Alvin, so that work is a little easier.

Speaking personally, even if Brown does absolutely nothing, then we're still better off than we would have been with sprawl-loving, downtown-killing, good-ole-boy Hogan. On his worst day, Brown may accomplish nothing, whereas Hogan's entire platform was wrapped around killing what remains of downtown and continuing to fund unsustainable sprawl. If Brown wins following the recount, we really doged a major bullet on this one.

Dude Im all about the excitement for Brown...just kicking the repubs when they are down is well...not sure how to say it, but it just seems better to Cheer for Brown then to BOO hogan if that makes any sense....Do you still think Hogan has a chance?
