Hogan would have to win tomorrow by more than a 13 to 7 margin,  very difficult

Sorta. This will still trigger a full recount because we're within 1/2 of 1%. And, umm, well, this is Florida.

Also, I've found that rightwing republiclowns talk about everyone else's manhood all the time, but when things don't go their way they are the first ones to run crying to their lawyer's office. I wouldn't be entirely surprised to see this wind up in court in some twist we don't even know yet.

Please be happy, this wasn't supposed to be within 5 points.  Our guy is leading by 600 votes with only provisional and absentee votes to be counted.  What more could you want?

More from Corrine!

How many votes did that precinct report? Are some 'missing' somehow?

These are absentee.  I wouldn't expect them to be counted until tomorrow.  Sounds like they could be half of them.

What would I want personally? A dick-smacking mandate against all the B.S. teabaggery going around. While I'm elated that Brown may actually have a shot at this, I'm still disappointed there were enough weirdos to make it a 50/50 recount race in the first place. But yeah, this is probably as good as we coukd have hoped for, I am pleasantly surprised.

My understanding is that the absentee votes in question are not from people who mailed in an absentee ballot.  They are from the people who requested an absentee ballot and then showed up at the polls to cast a vote.  They won't count them until it can be confirmed that they did not also mail in an absentee ballot.
