The plot thickens:

It seems Kim Daniels knew she would be on the news on Friday and posted on her website a message to her followers that implied she was attacked by a group of "homosexuals" and let people infer it was "homosexuals" who left a racist note on her car telling her to get out of the race.

Really?   I sure would like to know specifically when/where this threatening note first appeared and if a police report was filed.  I'm beginning to think it was a media stunt.  I suspect extremely few people outside of the press had known about TWO's press release about Daniels until after the local news aired.  Yet she was aware likely since the group probably contacted her to ask her to drop out.  Thoughts?  I may work on a time line.

Oh and here is another interesting tidbit.  I just visited www.kimberlydaniels.com and sections of the website where some of her most egregious statements were made (the blog and the War Room and the screen capture you can see in the previous post by following the link to TWO's website) have been taken down...and only the words "coming soon" appear.   I think that it's a little late for spring cleaning.  ;D

The Times Union has just reported that Kimberly Daniels has received the endorsement of the Family Research Council.  Strangely, the writer did not mention that the Family Research Council is considered by the Southern Poverty Law Center to be an anti-gay hate group that works to perpetuate myths about gay people so it is easier to deny them rights.  http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelligence-files/family-research-council

Here is a clip from the TU on Kimberly Daniels:
QuoteA publicist working for Daniels' campaign circulated a statement Wednesday from the FRC Action PAC calling Daniels "a true defender and protector of the family.

"...For her strong support of marriage, life and family Kim Daniels deserves to be elected to the Jacksonville City Council," the statement continued.

Daniels, a minister who writes on religious issues, has been criticized by gay-rights advocates for arguing gay people can be "delivered" from their lifestyle. She has also endorsed efforts to define marriage exclusively as a union between a man and woman.

Daniels has argued in the past that she held no ill feelings toward gay people.

In a 2008 column, she wrote: "I am not against homosexuals. I am against the homosexual agenda and any person who attempts to stop me from getting my gay brothers and sisters free.

"I have employees who have come out of the lifestyle, and gay people attend my church--but they are trying to get delivered," she continued. "We treat them with love but do not provide a place for them to flaunt their lifestyle."

Oh....that's far from the most ludicrous endorsement Kimberly Daniels has received in the past day or two. If you truly want to see something that will challenge your belief in reality, may I suggest;
