mtrain would say anything for a right wing-nut to win this or any election. It doesn't matter to him that Republicans have nearly bankrupted our city and our state.
Mtrain, what do you think about the person who called a national progressive radio show this morning and made the statement that the American middle class were the most selfish people on earth. And if you make $30,000 a year you are in the top 8% percent of income earners in the world? No doubt, if he made that up, it was based on the asinine statement a Congressman/Senator, not sure which, made about the elderly in America being selfish, because they don't want cuts to SS and Medicare. Hogan's statement sounds like what has happened in the states that just elected Republican governors who ran on fiscal responsibly, and other such vomitous utterances and have instead tried to destroy public workers and government. Just look to Michigan if you want to see the horrors of modern governing in action. Democracy be damned!
So his, (Hogan) statement should be carefully analyzed.

There are few people who post in TU's comment sections are completely idiots. They try to smear and being smart-asses about the whole political process. Some of them try to redirect / distract by placing blame on others or irrelevant topic.

They are the Ruby Ridge wing of the Republican party.

We can't, the unions can't and I do not even believe the Tea Party can.
Most tea beggers don't know their ass from a whole in the ground...money money money...except when it comes to our actual city runnings..there's no money...but for elections...these rich idiots around here will open thier pockets with millions spilling out....yet they don't want to pay not one percent in taxes that they can get away with....no money my ass...this city is filled with cash yet it's starving.....i know the answer.....let's lower taxes even more...that'll make things better right?

Rummell is a founder of JCCI which supports downtown growth and Brown who will say anything to get elected.

Anything to get elected? Then why doesn't he just say "I am a Republican and am more conservative than Hogan"? Seems like that might be all he'd need to do.

But calling it "chilling" that politicians lie to get elected (and it seems almost a positive to me that Hogan would admit that - maybe he won't be as bad for Jax as he promises to be) seems a bit much.

Yes, of course.  Taxes are ungood.  Lowering them is doubleplusgood.

And we've always been at war with Eastasia.
