That report almost seems like a joke.

I know. God forbid that anything happens within a one mile radius of a church or school in an urban area! Find a house in the urban core that isn't close to a school or church. I guess it's time to head to the suburbs!

Whats next? Vagrant squatters burn down mayor's mansion? WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE!

I think my brain just got turned into a mushy of void. Note to myself: Never read this kind of report.

Granpa?!?!?

Has anyone seen my granpa?  His house was circled by JSO this afternoon and I was scared to knock.

mmmmmm Urban core............vacant buildings...........larger electric service.........you could have a really big grow operation in a vacant office building........and be somewhat seperate from schools.........but the jail and the courthouse would be closer.

Perfect location. The best hiding places are where no one would believe you'd be.

Growing pot next door to JSO they probably wouldn't figure it out for years.

More like slow news day. When Channel 4 makes it their "breaking story" and the reporter comes out and says that the 91 year old mother is now staying by herself, uhh, isn't just an invitation for thieves to come to her rescue? Some of the news people in our town have no working brain power.

Is there some sort of law that says you can't grow pot within 100 feet of a demented person?

When will we ever come to our collective senses about this nonsense?  There's got to be some sort of conspiracy between the law enforcement community and the booze industry to keep these stupid laws in place so long.

I guess they are afraid that if we can grow our own we will buy less of their happy juice.

Legalize it, already! : )

AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY. It is the world's most natural medicine. Few studies has shown the lovely stuff has actually slowed the brains of the ADHD subjects down to the point they can actually function so well and intelligently without being over-compromised by their side effects from popping pills.

Chaos Lifestyle + That Natural Plant = Stability and Better Lifestyle

Of course, it doesn't work well with the already stupid people, because it would make them even more.

Not some sort of conspiracy, its full on Collusion!  Police, Corrections, Courts, Budweiser.  They are all in on it.

Most people who are arrested for marijuana offenses, can be found at the address on their DL.  They show up to court, pay the fines, etc.    It benefits the courts/corrections system to have these people paying to keep their lives together.  As for crack heads, meth heads and Co. they usually can't be found at any known address, don't show up to court if they bond out, and rarely pay their fines.

There is a reason there is a   http://www.facesofmeth.us/

OR the alternative faces of weed  http://www.flickr.com/photos/pegbent/3508857704/

Given the choice - the DEA would rather raid a 91 year old's house all commando style in San Jose, rather than try to eliminate crack, meth, and the illicit pill trade that is really ruining our society.

The double standard between the Marijuana and Alcohol is maddening.
