That will surely stop endless urban sprawl and ignite public transport and bike lanes. I'm buying bicycle manufacturing stocks!

This will just push the demand for alternative energy. On a side note, I went to a Ford dealership the other day looking at the Escape's. I asked about the new hybrid that they come out with. It cost about $7000 more. I was told it cost about 3 times as much to maintain. I just dont think hybrids well catch on until they can get the cost down more.

QuoteSurvey says executives see oil prices falling

HOUSTON (AP) â€" Even as oil prices ascended to new highs of more than $124 a barrel this week, many oil and gas industry executives say they expect the price to fall significantly by year's end, a new survey shows. Fifty-five percent of 372 petroleum industry executives surveyed by KPMG LLP said they think the price of a barrel of crude will drop below $100 by the end of the year. Twenty-one percent of respondents predicted a barrel of oil will end the year between $101 and $110, while 15 percent forecast the year-end price to be between $111 and $120 a barrel.

i quoted a similary in the other thread (hybrid - $8/gas, etc..) .  the other thread had them having it around $100 at end of year...i think a correction to $100-$95 levels and then $120 by end of year...
