This festival is going to sell some tickets.  Does anyone know the capacity at Metropolitan Park?

This kind of music didn't die in 1999?

Maybe it did.  I guess it won't sell many tickets

Even though Motorhead pulled out..they sold out Sunday and were close for Saturday.

OH! and no noise fines That I have heard of.... they aimed the stages either against each other or Two  towards Tallyrand I guess (4 stages opposing)..

Avenge and rob zombie were really good from what I understood. I'm glad they were successful I really like the event.

I wasn't as loud on the other side of the river as in the past.  I could hear it on Saturday but didnt notice the noise on Sunday.

I ended up selling my tickets after Motorhead pulled out, but good to hear it was a success. I wonder if The Big Ticket will end up being expanded to 2 days as well.

Here is the answer to the capacity question at the park.  http://www.makeascenedowntown.com/Metropolitan-Park.aspx

About the "noise":  there was a guy on a park bench by the Berkman townhomes taking a sound survey. I could barely hear the music, so I doubt there will be any negative reports from him, anyway.

Well I am truly glad to hear that the majority of the people were satisfied with the event... It is a shame that bands can so easily back out of contracts like that. I have been seeing that way too often lately in news. There needs to be more severe consequences for doing that... God forbid if a regular person bails out on a contract for something else. They would end up with some ridiculous law suit that bumps them down a class or 2.
