Hello from East Arlington

Hello All,

My name is Rod and I have lived in Jacksonville since 1989.

I was born in Kansas City, MO. and lived there until 1970, except for the three years in the U.S. Army.

After leaving there I lived in Ft Wayne, IN., Bloomington, IN., Toronto, ONT., Gainesville, FL., Jacksonville, FL., Albany, GA., then here I was almost twenty years later.

I have lived on the West Side, Arlington, Clifton, and for the most part in East Arlington just east of Craig Field.

After I had been here a couple of years I began participation in local government meetings through active participation in School Board and City Council Meetings and more recently have become a member of the Concerned Taxpayers of Duval County and First Coast Tea Party.  It was there I learned of the wealth of history, information and sharing there is here so here I am and I look forward to my times here.
