Quotehuh?  I suppose "sunrail in south florida" is Tri Rail?  You do know that FDOT doesn't operate that, right?

It won't matter who runs it, Tri-rail gets funding from the State of Florida as well. Scott would kill it if he could because the tea partiers see it as a waste. It cannot support itself. The locomotive issue is a disgrace.
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

"This is a game-changer. This is what I mean when I say taking Jacksonville to the next level."
-Mayor Alvin Brown on new video boards at Everbank Field

It cannot support itself at the fare box one of least important measures of it's success.  However it kicked the @#$% out of I95's fare box.

I usually don't get involved in politics but our new governor is going to set the state back decades in terms of mass transportation.

So I am asking for you all to please contact the governor and tell him not to kill Sunrail.

He has already killed one rail system, lets not let him kill another.

Done I used the benefit to Jaxport spin in my note.

Killing the recent HIGH SPEED RAIL plan? = GOOD!

Killing SUNRAIL? = BAD!

Killing all mass transit? = Cataclysmic failure!
