BRT Southeast Corridor Public Meeting
JTA is conducting an environmental assessment for the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Southeast Corridor project. The potential improvements being studied involve an 11.6-mile alignment on existing surface streets and predominantly within existing right of way. The proposed alignment extends from Downtown at Kings Avenue/Manning Street to a multimodal hub at Avenues Walk/The Avenues/Southside Boulevard. Alignment and station alternatives are currently under study that will allow JTA to provide improved service, minimize costs and improve transit operations.

Wouldn't it be great if you could ride Amtrak on the FEC line??

Yes, it would have.  Traffic down here is no joke.
