I was sure I read about this stuff somewhere on the MJ before--in reference to the bus shelter ad debacle--but isn't there a way to regulate so-called "obnoxious" signs?  I mean, from the few times I've seen examples of city ordinances, they're pretty effing specific about sign sizes and where they can be placed.  Surely some laws can be written up that everyone (with common sense) can agree on.


This sign ordinance stuff is something people in small towns fight over because they don't have multi-billion dollar budget shortfalls, union unrest, and other bigger problems to worry about.  We're still trying our damnedest to be Mayberry.
