Captain Zissou

Just park on the grass.  We may have to move cars to Catherine street if there gets to be too many.  We'll deal with that problem when we get to it.

There's plenty of onstreet parking adjacent to the fire station.

Yeah, I'm down to help as well after Hogan is sparkling clean Saturday.

We should form a partnership in this regard.  A restored Hogans Greenbelt is important to Springfield, in my humble opinion.

L&N, who is the person in charge of the Neighborhood Clean Up at Spar?

dont ask me i have no idea. i just read it but i cant be there
The other clean up is the spar block captains. We do a monthly clean up in various locations throughout the neighborhood. If you're interested, stop by 9th & Main tomorrow around 9:30-10, we'll be meeting and also discussing up coming events.

Free bagels to anyone wearing an FSU, St Johns Riverkeeper or Jaguars shirt.  Anyone that wears a UF shirt has to pay me for the bagels  ;)

Miss Fixit

Fieldafm, you'll be able to recognize me tomorrow because I WILL be wearing gator garb!  And I'd better get a free bagel...

Timkin

Thems sounds like threatening words Field...Id fork over a freebie bagel if I were you :)

Any suggestions on parking tomorrow? Will it be in the grass area around the creek or should we park on the surrounding roads?

In less than 4 hours it will be happening in Dist.7. I'd suggest park on the surrounding roads.

I just want to add a special thanks to the MJ team for this forum. Pats on the back to every one of you who are participating both physically and with your words of encouragement. Your actions are speaking volumes for our city and community to move to the next level.

Looking forward to making it happen with you. See you soon.

Great time this morning. We pulled a lot from the creek. The people from River Ocean were awesome.

This was at the end of the day. There were a lot more people there.

Some more stuff was taken off on a trailer and a few people were still pulling some stuff, but this is what we pulled out.

The sad part is, in the very small area where we focused today(the same area we started cleaning a few weeks ago) there is still more of that buried in the creek bed.

The River Ocean people were fantastic!!!

We had a decently sized group today.  Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart to all those that participated.  We have some great ideas for the next cleanup as we make our way towards the river.

Sorry I didnt bring bagels.  The line at Panera was pretty long and I was running late.  I think I owe Mueller and Noone a bagel.  Miss Fixit is paying for them  ;D
