Jacksonville's ranking in top American sports cities

Speaking of sports, did anybody know we now have a basketball team called the Jacksonville Giants?

I'm I the only one that's not wild about that name (Jacksonville Giants)? The first thing that comes to mind is a team in a very large metropolis (like NY & SF of course). Well I guess that we're a land "giant" in square miles. Maybe they should squeeze "Land" in there; The "Jacksonville Land Giants". LOL. It will be interesting to see if the ABA in Jax will be supported well like the first year of the Jax Sharks; I'm kinda skeptical long term, (Jax Giants) but I hope that I'm wrong. Why I'm skeptical? Jax doesn't seem like a city that's big on basketball.

Orlanda has a sub-par football stadium(Citrus Bowl), did not support minor league baseball, has had a few years where they talked about the Magic moving b/c of attendance issues when they were not competitive, and doesnt even sell out UCF football... and they have a GREAT on campus facility(I mean, they even have sports bars next to the stadium all on UCF's campus).

forget basketball in Jax, let the Magic have the Jax market. Like how Goldenstate does in Oakland & San Fran or the Wizards in the DC Bmore area. Might as well embrace the Magic & they might as well embrace the Jags. Both teams have put in their time.
