Two Teams that will be running very similar offenses.  Which Headline do you Expect on Tuesday?

First NFL Game Ever without a Passing Attempt
Two QBs - Two-Hundred Yds Rushing
MJD & CJ - How 1 + 1 = 600 yds Rushing
JDR & Jeff Fisher decide Outcome of Last Nights Game with a Fistfight on the 50 Yard Line
Cortland Finnegan Quits NFL for MMA
Maybe Marcedes Should Join MMA after Knocking Finnegan Out of the Game after Interception
A River (city) Runs Through It
Jags Win, Jags Win: 2-0

The Colts game may be the best home game of all time and last night might be the worst.

I've never seen a more frustrated group of fans. There were fights breaking out everywhere... from the stadium to the parking lot. Even I got into it with the guy behind me after he got out of line cursed out my fiancé for no reason.

I've said a million times over it's the product of the NFL and not the game outcome but... last night I would have been better off staying home and getting a full nights sleep.

I agree about the staying home thing. I am tired as heck right now and it was not worth it. But hey whatever.

I still dont see why we keep deferring the opening kick. We have one of the worst defenses in the NFL and you want to give their offense the ball first, so we can play catch the whole game.

Lets see....

The Fans: showed up en mass, enthusiastic, optimistic, and LOUD.
The Jags organization: no national anthem singer, no flyover, barely a halftime show, ridiculous ads all throughout the game.
The Team: No show.

Keith-N-Jax

I thought the fans singing the anthem was great. I agree with the rest of what you said. Not sure about a night time fly over. That might not be possible.

Shwaz

They've done the night game flyover before... it's on youtube somewhere.

Inconsistency is the identity of the Jags. I think of them as 2 separate teams. When they're good they're the Jags... when they're bad I call them the Guars,

And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

The crowd last night was fantastic. It is was easily the loudest that place has been in the last two years. I am not sure what is being reported, but someone I know who works in the command center for the stadium reported that 59,960 people came through the gates by 9:30.

It really was the worst possible scenario for the Jags. I have heard several people already say they wish they would have just stayed home, so they could have went to bed earlier.

I would have liked the fans singing if there was a flyover, which you can definitely do at night (think every east coast superbowl).  Without either of them it just seemed like they were just trying to cut costs.

Does anyone know if Fidelity turned their green lights back on??  How'd the city look on tv?

Keith-N-Jax

How can get rid of the Guars then. A nightime flyover would have been great, but you all know what followed.

Keith-N-Jax

Yes Fidelity did the only positive besides the crowd. I say keep Scobee, Jaxon Deville, and the Roar, fire the rest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The city must be coursed or something. The more excited we get and the more we hype the jags up, the greater chance they have of literally dropping the ball. But how can we expect them to play well while in the shadows of abandoned crumbling buildings, no effective mass transit and ridiculous favoritism to a certain few.(including and especially motorists) There's not much of a city here to represent. If the jags keep on "NOT" playing, not only do I see them moving, I also see another round of building demolitions as we slip further into a backwater township. Wake up Jags! Your city depends on it!

Keith-N-Jax

Well we hosted a super bowl. I thought that would be the catalyst not just for the city, but the team as well. Both are moving backwards at a rapid pace!!!!!!!!!

Again I Will say, if everyone has so much to say, dont buy tickets! You are not being forced and its a free country.

you guys suck. a bunch of fairweather fan's I tell ya. Enjoy the fact that you get to go and see a pro team in your home town before another city does. win or lose we should be happy and proud to create an atmosphere each and every game that shows support not only for the Jags but also Jacksonville.

The ESPN broadcast on was on in the suite I was in, and I thought they had a good job with the shots showing Jacksonville. However, it was noticeably dark downtown. They did a shot that panned from Fidelity/Blue Cross (which were lit up) to down town, and it looked like someone just turned out the lights downtown.
