Jags Beat the Colts

I'm just praying that we don't get to over confident and cocky and end up flopping Sunday against a team who is 0-4. Talking about embarrassed!! But I have faith they will continue to do well. I noticed we play hard against division rivalry's, and underestimate everyone else. I believe that is the root of our inconsistency problem. We need to treat every team like they are the colts. This is going to be good season :)

However, it was bad in the office for peyton manning. Man we shut them down.
Shut them down?  Hardly, IMHO.

Wayne caught a career-record 15 receptions for 196.  And Manning threw for 352 and 2 TD.  Let's not pretend we have a lock-down D.  They bent, but didn't break.  And we were gifted 2 crucial turnovers.

Today is the last day to celebrate that win.  Soak it in and move on to Buffalo.  Let's see if we can shake our road demons.

Jason

Buffalo is going to be a tough road win.  They are desparate and at home and we have a crappy road record...  With proper planning it should be a solid win though.

And like others have said, the win against the Colts was nothing to get cocky about.  Yes it was a big win but with one mistake it would have been a completely different outcome.

Here at the office there are plenty of people that are back on the ol Jags Bandwagon...... Next loss they wil lall be back off.

I hate to sound negative, but Scobee's kick was almost blocked by an almost totally undefended Colts player on the right side, came right in there both times. The first try with the timeout call, then the actual gravy winner, that concerned me some.

Excellent way to finish. Oh, and ESPN gave the Jags plenty of love this morning.

ESPN you say?? They finally did the right thing? Interesting, very interesting.

5 games left...Browns, Texans, Raiders, Titans & Redskins.

Good Win Yesterday! I was proud to be part of the crowd at "The Bank"!

Unfortunately, I don't think this win means we are going to the playoffs or even having a winning season, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

The two Tuesday NFL Network replay games are BAL vs PIT, and DET vs GB. Wow!! The Ravens came back against a Roethlisberger-less Steelers (with 113 year old Charlie Batch at the helm) and the Pack beat the woeful Lions like they always do. If one of the two (yet to be announced) Wednesday NFL Network replay games aren't IND vs JAX, I'm thinking it's definitely an anti-Jax conspiracy in the NFL. With that being said, they will probably pick some stupid game like SF vs ATL over the Jags game; That is certainly a more attractive game.  ::)

NFL Network cares about ratings almost as much as the other cable channels.  Jax is too small and Colts fans don't want to see a loss over again.  It's a business decision.  They're making their customers happy.

I just checked the schedule. It is playing tomorrow:

"9:15 PM NFL REPLAY: IND vs. JAX  Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (10/03/10) - As time expires in Jacksonville, Josh Scobee converts a 59-yard field goal to upset the Colts and hand Indianapolis its second loss of the season. The FG is both the longest in Scobee's career and in Jaguars history. "

And per the TU, I am happy to see that Del Rio let the Jags know that the win was incrediable, but they still have issues that need to be addressed and that there still were not at the top of their game. That type of optimisum is what the Jags need. That way they dont go to buffalo and flop on Sunday. It is too early to get TOO cocky.

I knew that someone was gonna say that. Believe me, I took all of the BS national media elitist crap in consideration. I'm glad that the NFL Network made the "right business decision" by showing the Indy/Jags game. I'm not naive to think that a JAX vs OAK game (for example) will make the top four games; This is the AFC champs in a very exciting game vs a division foe regardless if the Colts lost.

Yep youre right. I told a fan next to me this game will be on nfl rewind for sure. And as it should be. So glad we won. Late in the fourth it seemed like everyone in the entire stadium was standing.

I know we're all on a high from the win against the colts, but is anyone else kinda scared that the jags will lose to the bills?? i'm having a weird feeling that there will be a let down against buffalo. hopefully not, but we seem to lose against the teams we shouldn't

Just FYI, the GW kick was the #1 play on ESPN for week 4 of the NFL regular season.

That was just as entertaining and dramatic as the Jags game.  Did you happen to catch the last 3 minutes?  WOW!
