Jagz vs Broncos! Tebow returns to the city!! The media has been negative all off season. Time to shut all the critics down. Anyone hitting up the Jags game?

Also article on Jacksonville.com talks about all the winning they have has since the new ballpark. Championships in 2001 2005 & 2009. How the team has lead the league in attendance since the Baseball Grounds opened. Maybe Jax is ready to move the Suns into triple A? What your take on upgrading?

Suns vs Mobile Bay Bears starts best of 5 series with a supreme home field advantage thanks to the double clinch. I have to say the fans are a big part of the reason for the wins. And the BJP was a good idea.

This should be a good weekend for Jax sports...three playoff games for Suns & the season opener for the Jags. Big City style baby.....

I would honestly be there if the skyway ran to the sports complex.  I don't have tickets to any of the games, but I would go and tailgate if I could get there and back easily.  I'm not going to pay to park and deal with the traffic, but if I could pay $.50 to ride there and $.50 to ride back I'd definitely do it.

A move to AAA would be nice but it is very complicated. Any team playing at the Baseball Grounds will be owned by the Bragans. Typically, a AAA franchise is close to the parent club. The Braves just moved their AAA franchise to Gwinnett, Ga within the last few years. New Orleans Zephyrs changed affiliations in 2009 from the Mets to Marlins. Unless the Rays are planning on leaving Durham, I don't see AAA baseball in our future.

I am going to try and make it out there tomorrow. I only made it to a few games this year, but Suns' games are always fun.

I don't think the parking is bad at 5 bucks, and if there are no other events going on, traffic isn't really a problem for Sun's games.

It would be cool if they became a AAA organization, but I am happy with the quality of the product.

Jagz are favored heavy this weekend! Although I would not put too much stock in one game. Just glad its not blacked out. Id like to see MetroJax cover a sporting event...interview fans, office staff...I always like the pics metro jax showcases. TU doesnt have to be only reports we get.

You have not been to any of the venues? Man Jax has some very nice stadiums/ballparks....I mean its not the Unicron @ Meadowwlands or Jerrys World but the Bank on da bank aint a bad venue. I understand about the Skyway though.

Series is now 1-1....Suns dropped the ball lastnight. Its a best of 3 now. Suns still have home field advantage.

You could park almost anywhere downtown for free then walk...I suggest the burrito gallery/dos gatos area, but that's me... 
And so everyone knows, Dos Gatos will be open @ 3pm Sunday for some Jags afterparty fun... come hang. We'll have special event times for all home games as well. See you at the game! Go Jags!!!!

Sept-Oct is always the best time for sports! Especially for major cities with good baseball teams, plus NFL & college football crank up! The Fall!! My favorite time of year.

All the sports sites & sports talk have the Jagz taking the W....I hope it works out that way. Ill be keeping my eye on # 9.

What wrong with the buses?  JTA seems to have this actually figured out based on my personal experience.  It just shows Jax can do anything for football!  We do have our priorities.

I cant believe that comment by Captian Z. Theres no stadium easier to get in and out of then Jax. I never pay to park. I've park as far BOA. I look at it as a way to get a little exercise. If your not handicap, theres really no excuse. Also some people are wearing lies as well to support are 1st round pick. I am picking some up in the morning.

Game 4 of Suns-BayBears is at 7pm Sunday as well. They are playing Game 3 in Mobile right now...Suns is up 3-1. So the Sports Complex & Downtown is definate the place to be Sunday Sept 12. Jags @ 1pm Suns @ 7pm for Game 4.
