Can anyone recommend a business card printer?

I'm looking to get a set of business cards (color, if that matters) printed up in a relatively short time period. Heading off to Baltimore for a junket in a couple of weeks and it's not a service my company provides (of course). Anyone do it downtown? I'd like to say I saw a printing shop in the Elks building?

The Shop you saw in the Elks Building was probably Madame T productions :).   I would recommend Tom's Instant Printing on Beach Blvd. That is what they do ,and I believe you can get same day service.  Both of these companies are former customers of mine and both do extremely well but one is a printer and the other does invitations , and creative stuff... but not necessarily a printer :)

The UPS Store on Hogan just south of Monroe. Ask for Vicki. Can be done in a matter of minutes.

Madame T if you need ultra fancy.  207 N Laura, between Monroe and Adams.  Go to the main entrance and call the telephone # on the door to enter.

Glad to see a little NYC culture coming to Downtown Detro..., I mean Jacksonville.  Use local services.  Walk to local services.  That's what downtowns are all about, except there's not much left here.

Madam T is not just fancy, she has a new album that is all eco friendly and wallet friendly.
The printing place on the bottom floor is a chain, a franchise.

Madame T has some really cool creative people on the staff and they do really beautiful work.  I have not been there in some time, so I was unaware of a printing shop in the same building??  What is the name of that printer?

Anyway..  If you want just flat print business cards, Kinko's or any copying place probably can do them, however if you want raised-print (which is thermography)  you have to go to a Printer who has an offset printing press with a thermography unit attached. Its an all on line process. Tom's Instant on Beach , has done this for years.. This shop and its staff are one of the best in the business, not to mention their pricing and turnaround time is very competative.   I am not aware of a thermographer in downtown.
