A big shout out to our readers and regular posters.

We have watched the steady growth and expansion of Metrojacksonville over the past few months with pride and happiness.

All of us have made this site the highest ranked independent news and opinion site in Jacksonville according to Alexa!

Throughout most of the day there are tons of readers at a time, digesting some of the best insights and civil posts in the city, and every day we grow larger.

Congratulations and Thank you for all of your hard work and thoughtful input.

The spiders are good for a site, especially when people are doing searches....on yahoo, google, etc. They collect the information...so they're a good thing.

i think they are bad - spiders entrap their prey and confuse it with tricky webs.  they are the enemies of all things good.  spiders poison things too. if left unchecked, their effects on their environment can be devastating.

what's bad are the bogus users and or bots. Bots that post trash are not good.

Looks like we are having an all time high amount of participation today 213 people and counting. Bigger and stronger all the time.
