MJ Wednesday Lunch gathering

Hello all
Just a reminder that Wednesday some members of MJ will be meeting downtown at the International Cafe on Hogan St across from the Ed Ball Bldg at 12noon for lunch and to meet and greet. Anyone and everyone is welcome. And since most of us probably have never met, I'll be the guy thats 6'2", 300lbs, with lots of gray hair, wearing black pants and a red shirt. I stand out in a crowd.

I hope to meet some forum members I have never met in person.

So tomorrow's the big day. I may circle the building looking for cool people. If you're there I might partake in the merriment.

Seriously, Friday's at the International Cafe used to be a main stay for me. A Friday special is a huge fried fish w/ rice and beans but then I gave up rice, beans and most fried foods! I'm sure the fish is frozen but it almost always hit the spot and the family running the place is super nice. One of the few places in the core away from the Landing where we are encouraged to sit outside. The sidewalk is very broad and you can hear the skyway cars whoosh past. People watching here is the best too as far as entertainment goes you will see a little of everything including i.e. all walks of life.

(self edit: Not only can you hear the skyway, you'll be able to see it, feel it and almost reach up to touch it!)

Likewise JC... I have enjoyed meeting MJ posters at various events. I still hope to be there but the nature of my job precludes guarantees of when or if I get to take a lunch break. So far so good though...

Yeah, I am the same way, I just never know how a day is going to pan out but I am going to try to be there since I am just in Regency.
