Museum meeting?

A week or so ago there was a post about a meeting to discuss volunteering to help form a Jacksonville museum, I think the meeting was supposed to be last night- but I can't find the original post anymore. Was it last night? Did anyone go? If so- whats the deal? I'd like to help although I wasn't able to make the meeting.

yes it was last night and while I didn't go, a friend of mine did and sent me an e-mail afterwards..

"Went to the meeting and it was not quite what I envisioned. Meeting was held in a rather noisy
(compressor noise) section of the food court and was hosted by The Jacksonville Museum and
Cultural Center. No affiliation with the Jacksonville Historical Society. With Rodney's group (8 people)
and the 9 others (hosts and presenters included) it was not a well attended meeting. The hosts would
like to have the rail groups there but were very vague on the topic. We did see the space though and
it is a very nice 10,000 sq. ft. on the first floor of the Landing."

So not sure where it goes from here but 10,000 sq ft is a pretty nice sized space.
