Electronics to Civil..... In my opinion, you be far more marketable with an electronics degree.  Besides, civil is pretty boring unless you couple it with a structural degree and build mega bridges.

We're capable of much faster speeds using current technology, just need to throw down the coin to implement it.  Remember that was back on '03.... a LOT has changed since then.
