Good news!

QuoteLender Processing Services will add 350 new jobs at its Jacksonville headquarters.

Half the jobs are due to be added during the first year of an agreement approved in March by the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission. The remainder will be added in 2011. According to a summary prepared by JEDC staff, the average wage would be roughly $44,807.

That's really good, more jobs the merrier.
SunRail, Florida's smart transit idea. :) (now up on the chopping block) :(

Lets just hope that after all the financial incentives given this model corporate citizen (?) that they actually bring the jobs that they've agreed to and the City holds them to it.  Too often we give away the farm to these corporations to bring their jobs and then nobody follows up and holds them accountable.

Are they going to count the jobs created by the demolition of some of Jacksonville's history on Riverside Ave?  Just curious.

let's hope that if FNF is indeed acquired, their operations will remain fully intact locally. (don't mean to be a downer, just sayin since LPS is associated with FNF)

IF FNF is acquired, it won't be an issue of IF jobs are relocated elsewhere, but when.

eh...i meant FIS. And I heard otherwise, but I'm sure that's of little assurance to those affected.
