For any of you that has run this race before, the conditions were a bit different than normal.  In past years, the wind was light, going lighter and then comes on pretty strong.  This year the winds were good for the start, went somewhat lighter as the day went on and didn't really come back until the bitter end.  We were always moving, but actually finished only 30 minutes sooner than last year when we sat for about 30 minutes without wind.

We didn't go to the results party yesterday and the results haven't been posted yet and I know that we didn't win class this year as a world class trimaran sailor was in the race and literally smoked us. I know sometimes they have a news report about it, but if they did this year, I missed it.
"My father says that almost the whole world is asleep. Everybody you know. Everybody you see. Everybody you talk to. He says that only a few people are awake and they live in a state of constant total amazement." Patrica, Joe VS the Volcano.
