well, Starbucks at 11E, Casa Dora, Ivey all have (had) these types of signs. It can be done. It is just that the City doesnt make it easy. I remember talking with Suzanne Jenkins about this many years ago when MJ first started.

Why are there such stringent codes on the books that make it so difficult to have such signage?  What would be the purpose of such an enactment (since we see the results of said enactment clear as day)?

Many people view advertising in general as ugly.  I think it's beautiful.
