Why is there no St. Paddy's Day Parade in Jax?

The Landing supposedly has "the Largest St Patty's party in NE FL", but I haven't seen or heard it advertised anywhere. I assume O'brothers will be doing its deal tonight.  I will be busy winning the Bold City Flip Cup tournament (still taking suggestions for team name).

Should be a fun night to be in Riverside/DT.

O'Brother's only has permit to close 1 lane of Margaret St. from what I was told at OB last weekend.

It is going to be packed tonight at the O'Brothers/Mossfire area. From what I was told, the cost for the permit to close off the block was so high, that it turned out not to be a money maker for them. I will be down there tonight with a group of friends, but I am worried about being able to get drinks. I may have to "neck" it and carry some spare beers in my pockets.
